Tribute to Mahatma Gandhi and spread his message

In honor of Mahatma Gandhi’s 150th year celebration, Gujarati Sahitya Sarita (GSS) will hold literary events and will encourage authors and poets to compose and recite articles and poems in private and public functions. May also invite special guests to highlight achievements of Gandhiji’s work and will try to spread his message to public by actions. Many members of GSS are active supporters of Mahatma Gandhi Library and provides volunteering services in functions of MGL. GSS will encourage more members for participation in MGSC events. GSS is one of the largest and oldest non-profit literary organizations of USA that was established in September 2001 and keeps a meeting every month.
Presenter Bio : Gujarati Sahitya Sarita of Houston
Mr. Satish Parikh is President of GSS and works very closely with Board Members. GSS is a very active literary organization and its members make big contribution in its success. GSS holds monthly meetings and many local authors present their works. GSS also invites very well known authors of USA and abroad to present their compositions to enrich knowledge of GSS members and public.
